Brief recap from the articles we read and discussed tonight.....
CBI definitely has some help - people riding in on their white horses - The World Bank and the IMF came in and talked to Nujaifi
We discussed an article that said the Central Bank is independent and they shouldn't interfere- saying we are not interfering with it in the Parliamentary level....we are just keeping you guys out there - its nice to see
The World Bank is talking about supporting Iraq in the industrial sector We discussed about the Investment Commission calling for the changing of the laws - if you read that particular article it talks about how there is lots of red tape that's there and how they need to eliminate the red tape, simplify their laws and that's what needs to happen - These are the things we have been talking about that Parliament needs to take care of - its almost like they received a talking to and them saying okay this is where you need to be...get on track...lets make sure you are there......look at the end goal and what is there

If you ever wanted to know why they need to increase the value in their currency you need to read this article - very in depth - talks about everything we talk about and have talked about here on the call - its almost like they listen to the call - its not that they listen to the call....Its all economic sound philosophy that you use when you do this - its not magic - they need to do these things and do them in a certain way and there is a reason why and all of these things are talked about - about the economy getting better - stock market and things that need to be done there and it has a huge effect on everything - companies are going to have more equity - people are going to have more dollars - there will be more money to go thru
they talk about Turkey having devaluation problems and how their economies really are not similar - we have talked about that too that - they are two different economies and such a different situation - you have a rebirth of an economy and not an existing economy that really is falling apart or doesn't have the infrastructure - they are building the banking infrastructure to support this - As much as we hate it not happening sooner, the longer that it waits the better the infrastructure is going to be and the better it is going to be for Iraq in the long run and for us it will be more stable when it come out
it is not going to fluctuate - they will be able to control it at the price they want to bring it out at - and they even talk about if it just was a 1-1 and they use it as an example in this article to talk about how much more effective it would be to handle cash transactions, etc - It was a real basis to say that they need to dedollarize and they need to bring the value up over that dollar mark because it just makes sense for them to handle transactions & dedollarize - thought it was a great article
Central Bank is moving forward - The Calvary has shown up to support Shabibi and to keep Maliki off of him from an end run - he's moving forward - we have always seen him tend to move faster once people come in to help him and he knows he has backing....CBI has been Very very quiet..they are hunting RV's.....and they are not talking - that's good ....we want them to be improving and doing the things that they are doing

Britain's Foreign Minister showed up to talk today to Maliki
Talabani has asked the about the issue of Hashemi to get the Americans to get more involved - they are really trying to get the Americans with the Strategic Agreement to get them out of Chapter 7
This is a huge bargaining chip in this whole thing - you know what if you want out get Maliki out of the way - that's how these bargaining chips can work in these discussions - I am not saying that is how it is going to happen but it is pressure - lots of pressure points and we have been giving you where these pressure points are coming on Maliki so that you can have an idea of what is going on with the 100's of news articles we read thru daily....to weed thru it - there is a alot going on out there
Parliament is also acting - they have run into a few road blocks but the President of the Parliament Nujaifi put together a committee on the Oil & gas Law to meet on Tuesday - he is giving them deadlines -
Also discussed about giving the Commission 48 hours to have the names of the 9 Candidates so they can vote on them on Saturday
He's not stopping...hes moving forward - he's hitting these roadblocks where as before he would stop and adjourn - not now - they have 233 showing up for Parliament now so theres alot of people with alot of interest
Maliki is supposed to be there on Saturday- will keep our eyes on the news - could be a major weekend for news into Monday
We will keep our eyes on it and we will be out with something as soon as it happens
And we discussed the article, Baghdad and Erbil agree to pay the dues of oil companies.....All of a sudden Baghdad and Erbil agree to pay the dues to the oil companies - something we talked about the other night..asking how are they doing this? How can they not pay the companies? Well they are starting to pay them this is a huge concession - I don't know what happened to make this happen but this is a major bargaining chip which means something is in the works - they are getting something in order to do this or they were told to do this and they will get something down the road from some diplomat - these are all major things that signal to me that the government is having lots of negotiations and things are happening behind the scenes - we won't see alot of it in the news about some of these things - we will see alot of re-hash of articles and could get very mind blowing over the next few days - you may see articles that come out that are very very negative on the CBI side because Maliki is going to punch back even harder because they have help now - and you will see some good things peer thru - but you are probably going to see Maliki put alot of crap out into the newspapers - the other day they started blaming the newspapers for supporting Maliki too much and then all of a sudden starting to see all of these other articles come out about other things and we are starting to see the reporters are getting alot braver to get the news out there - Thats good you want the news in peoples hands not just for us but for the Iraqi people - The heat is on....The Heat is On and they are moving forward
