Highlights from the CBI/Economy News
"Haji MP: Banks should be required to set the controls for the sale of hard currency to prevent a repeat of smuggled abroad"
We've talked about how it is important for the banks to get on board and sell this currency and do what they need to do - It helps to build the stability around the market there - getting rid of the street vendors
Theres alot going on in that neck of the woods right now..its definitely going to get a little bit harder...the pressure on Syria...
is going to get very difficult for Syria right now and it looks like they are going to run out of allies-we will see happens - they are destined for change in Syria ...that should help ease those pressures off of the monetary supply there in Iraq
Will be interesting to see how quickly that can happen once all this starts to move forward - Its almost like the plans are all coming together as things and events are turning - you can see them getting their banking system in order to get this thing moving and getting it moving the way it needs to be so it is set up for stability...Great to see

We discussed and read the whole Islamic Banking Law several weeks ago.....it certainly looks like they are moving forward with
that - We talked about this being such an important piece to the economy to do business with rest of the people around them....people who have Shura Laws that want to bank thru their religous beliefs now have an opportunity to do that when they need to so that they can expand and work with Qatar and all these other places that want to bring money to them - So it looks like they are really pushing forward - Again this is the second article that says lets get this done -hopefully when the Parliament gets back they can start to get some of these things passed...maybe this will be one of the those things that they can pass very quicky - it would be needed...absolutely

Great article....Love this......We've talked about the Trade Bank which is great...We've also talked about one of the reasons that
Chapter 7 is not as relevant as it used to be was because all of these banks are working together in conjunction with guaranteeing
funds coming into Iraq - the only thing that Chapter 7 holds them back from is people wanting to deal with them with because of the the stigma of it because they feel there maybe sanctions there and they might lose their money
With the Trade Bank and everybody starting to get out there guaranteeing these banks they are trying to make the private sector
banks and the private sector grow and this is absolutely wonderful seeing this all coming in fast and furious
They are ready for all of this........We've said before many times electronically they are ready....and we've said it before the biggest
problem they are going to have is to get people to the banks so they can keep on coming to the banks and put their money in the banks so it grows expotentially
Gives you an idea of where they are at with the banking system
The Future of iraq Project tells us that the banking system is the last thing they need to get done (Final Chapter)
We've seen where they were at with the IMF 6 - 8 months ago and where they are now...they are knocking things off of their banking checklist as fast as they can to make sure they have what they need in order to get this banking system up and running and off the ground
Absolutely they are working hard - driving towards getting the banking system up and running so they can handle the flow of cash
ITS GETTING CLOSE TO TIME TO ADD VALUE...........and everything is in place
ADD SOME VALUE....Get the money in the bank........What else is left after that.......

You can tell they are serious about moving forward with the Vote of No Confidence folks....This is not a dead deal.....we've said it has just begun...lots going on - they have the ability once Parliament is in -
The President of the Parliament can bring this up for a vote - I think they may try - we will have to see what happens on Thursday
when they are in....so As the World Turns with Government of Iraq we get closer and closer to it

SURVEY SAYS.......We've read several polls come out lately...We just thought it was unique that he doesn't have as much people support as he thinks he has.....they start to bolster this thing and you start to get people that are less afraid and If they know this is going to happen and he is going to go away.... then it is going to be good

Knock it off guys...make sure you understand what you are doing
Remember these people and the policital pressure is a very very unique way of talking about the political pressure
The sentence or two that comes out and says look we have already told you that we don't want to let you out of Chapter 7
just yet - thats something that very well could have bolstered things - the banks stepped into correct anything and any issues they may have but this after what they did the other day is a clear warning to Maliki to get his Ship in order.....
definetely somthing that needs to get done...We love it....
finally starting to see people reign in from around the world
and with what just happened in Syria today basically the Russians have decided not to back the leadership in Syria..Thats recent breaking news - its reported in Britain but we are starting to hear some things that they have turned some ships around
This should send a message to Maliki that he has NO support
because if he thought he had it in Syria he doesn't now because that situation is going to change very quickly...and Iran they are just a bunch of crazies over there anyway right now with what they have going on...so he will have nothing to fall back on because they have no credibility whatsoever
Now you have no legitimacy in Syria.....His days are numbered in Syria and that should wake up Maliki
Huge messages being sent to the Middle East..some indirectly..some directly....one that was sent to Syria is in indirect message to Maliki to get your ship in order
When I pulled that article today I really didnt realize what was was going to happen today...it just goes to show you that the there are lots of things going on in the world and political pressure can come from just about anywhere at any point in time
It is going to be inetresting to watch over the next few days
maybe we wll get 140 implemented..maybe we won't - maybe he will save his hide...maybe he will go away.....certainly some

He tends not to want to show up at these type of meetings..it will be interesting to see if he does...but I have a strange feeling they have an ace in their hands - sounds like its almost we've seen it happening...its almost like they have a plan now and they feel confident with everything going back in
I think we are headed towards a resolution folks....starting to feel it again.....

Looks like the banks are moving forward ...The CBI is moving forward with the currency to sell the hard currency in the banks
We talked about that before many times - making sure they can sell the currency thru the banks - it gets the people used to coming into the banks and helps them stabilize their currency
We also talked about them moving forward with the Islamic Banks
and the Shura Council and that they will be ready to open - they need the Parliament to pass the laws
We talked about the Trade Bank of Iraq initiating the systems that are there and how the banking system is thriving and ready to go with electronic fund transfers and everything they need to go forward...they are going to be out there insuring these private banks so that they have the credibility and the full faith of Iraq behind them as well as the IMF and everybody else who is guaranteeing loans to CBI...so they are solidifying what is going on in the banking systems
Gotta tell you its pretty exciting seeing them moving forward
day by day..every day they having something going on moving them forward
We talked about the withdrawal of confidence Najafi wants to push it forward...he's pretty much caught between a rock and hard spot- he's really going to move it forward when Parliament gets in
We talked about the people in Iraq starting to see Maliki is not out there in their best interest or greatest good with the polls that are coming in
We talked about the United Nations telling them to get their ship together and making sure they move forward..we also talked about Russia and what happened today backing off of Syria
support for Syria...and his allies are starting to fall around him
So I think it pretty much puts him between a rock and a hard spot
He is going to have to deal....
We talked about a meeting happening tomorrow
the final countdown to have Maliki meet these people to see if he can resolve this issue before they bring it to a vote of no confidence and trust me they are going to move down that road very quickly
and try to do what they can with that Vote of No Confidence..its still looming over his head so it is not out of the way
They are not going to stop as they move forward...I think we are headed towards a resolution folks....starting to feel it again.....
